DAYTONA BEACH -- Passenger traffic at Daytona Beach International Airport increased 27 percent in December compared to the same time in 2009.

HOLLY HILL -- A 31-year-old transient already jailed on unrelated charges was served with two warrants Thursday at the Volusia County Branch Jail accusing him of assaulting a woman with no arms in early December after she confronted him about some missing beer.
