DELAND -- Bike Week 2011 hadn't yet started and already a motorcyclist was killed Thursday night when his Harley Davidson was struck by an 18-year-old motorist in a four-door Mercury that tried crossing over several lanes on Woodland Boulevard, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

OAK HILL -- Division of Forestry officials are pleased on this Sunny Sunday afternoon that they finally have the massive Iron Horse wildfire straddling the Volusia and Brevard County borders contained, but far from extinguished or even under control.
