DELTONA -- A precautionary boil-water notice was lifted at 3 p.m. Saturday for 300 homes on Stone Island in southwest Volusia County.

DAYTONA BEACH SHORES -- A SWAT team was called in several hours after Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety officers received a call 2 p.m. Saturday of a suicidal man in his residence at 3716 S. Atlantic Ave. The man was later found dead inside his home, police said.

DAYTONA BEACH – Army Spc. Keith T. Buzinski of Daytona Beach was killed when his unit in Afghanistan was attacked by small arms fire, the Department of Defense confirmed Saturday. He was 26 years old when he lost his life.
