Legendary 50s-60s-70s singer-songwriter Neil Sedaka has died at the age of 86

Sedaka's most popular and signature song is often considered "Breaking Up is Hard to Do" (1962 - #1 US; #7 UK). Other key Sedaka hits: "Calendar Girl" (1961 - #4 US; #8 UK), "Laughter in the Rain (1974 - #1 US; #15 UK), "Bad Blood" (1975 - #1 US), "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do" (slow ballad version) (1975 - #8 US).

Holtz's coaching career spanned five decades. Holtz became a beloved member of the Notre Dame community. He began his head-coaching career with the Fighting Irish in 1986 and led the team to a National Championship in 1988. Lou Holtz spent 11 seasons as the head football coach at Notre Dame. But upon physically leaving that post in 1996, his heart never left Notre Dame.
